Ditch the boring healthy breakfasts and dive into this trio of flaxseed pudding creations that are bursting with nutritious properties and vibrant flavours.  

The Essentials: 

Before we paint our pudding masterpieces, let’s gather our tools: 

Blueberry Flaxseed Pudding 

Ingredients (Serves 1) 

  • ½ cup milk  
  • ½ cup blueberries – fresh or frozen 
  • 2-3 tbsp Linwoods Milled Flaxseed 
  • 1 Tbsp plain greek yogurt 
  • Toppings: Yogurt and blueberries 

Blueberry Flaxseed Pudding Recipe

Method

  1. Add ½ cup milk and ½ cup blueberries to a blender. Blend until smooth. 
  2. Add blueberry mix along with milled flaxseed and plain greek yogurt to a mason jar or bowl.  
  3. Mix together, seal with a lid and let sit in the fridge for a minimum of 3 hours, but preferably overnight. Stir together, then add toppings such as plain greek yogurt and fresh blueberries. 

Banana Split Flaxseed Pudding 

Ingredients (Serves 1) 

  • ½ banana – mashed with a fork 
  • ½ cup milk  
  • 3 tbsp Linwoods Milled Flaxseed 
  • Toppings – plain greek yogurt and banana slices 

Banana Split Flaxseed Pudding Recipe

Method 

  1. Mash half of a ripe banana with a fork. 
  2. Add the mashed banana, ½ cup milk, milled flaxseed to a mason jar or bowl. Mix together, seal with a lid and let sit in the fridge for a minimum of 3 hours, but preferably overnight.  
  3. Stir together, then add toppings like greek yogurt and sliced bananas. 

Strawberries and Cream Flaxseed Pudding 

Ingredients (Serves 1) 

  • ¾ cup milk – ¼ cup first layer, ½ cup second layer 
  • ½ cup strawberries – fresh or frozen 
  • 3 tbsp Milled Flaxseed – 2 tbsp first layer, 2 tbsp second layer 
  • Toppings – plain greek yogurt and fresh strawberries 

Strawberries & Cream Flaxseed Pudding Recipe

Method 

  1. Make the bottom layer: Add ½ cup strawberries, 1/4 cup milk, and 2 tbsp milled flaxseed to a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy. Pour into a mason jar, seal with a lid and let sit in the fridge for a minimum of 3 hours. 
  2. Make the top layer: To make the top layer, combine ½ cup milk, 2 tbsp milled flaxseed flaxseed in a bowl or jar  and mix. Cover and add to refrigerator for minimum 3 hours. 
  3. After chilling for 3 hours, stir each layer then pour pink top layer on top of the bottom layer in mason jar. Add toppings such as plain greek yogurt and fresh strawberries.
